Welp, it’s one of the oldest tricks in the book for attorneys to have clients plead insanity in an effort to reduce the sentencing severity.
I’m not 100% certain this is how it will unfold, but the verbiage lines up for such a preparation, yeah?
Brian Dowling is an 18-year-old who randomly fatally stabbed Ryan Carson, 31, in the middle of New York City, right in front of Carson’s girlfriend. After Dowling stabbed Carson, Dowling proceeded to spit in Carson’s girlfriend’s face.
Oh, but he’s a great kid and wasn’t looking for trouble…
Let’s ask Carson’s girlfriend, Claudia Morales, what she thinks.
There is video surveillance footage of the whole gruesome act and, uhm, I’d say Dowling was absolutely looking for trouble… seeing as he caused the trouble. It’s not even something subjective to debate.
Dowling kicked over several scooters near the curb where the couple was seated, prompting any normal human being to glance over at the commotion and unusual behavior.
Fox News reported:
Video surveillance shows a man police have identified as Dowling bark at Carson, “What the f— are you looking at?” and “I’ll kill you,” then stab him three times as he tries to flee.
“It’s pretty clear when you look at the video, he wasn’t out there looking for trouble but was in the middle of an episode, and in that episode things unfolded,” attorney Kenneth Montgomery told Fox News Digital.
“That person had anger issues, and it spilled into something else.” The lawyer would not directly confirm his client was the man in the footage.
“I do know this young man comes from a good family, and I can’t imagine him not being remorseful for something like this if the facts are what they say they are [and he did this],” the attorney added. “He is a great kid but clearly may have some mental health issues.”
After Dowling was arrested Thursday, he sobbed as he was escorted from the 81st Precinct to a waiting police cruiser. Once inside the car, the tears continued to roll down his face.
Dowling had punctured Carson’s heart, resulting in Carson dying quite rapidly.
The couple had just left a wedding that they attended together, sat outside at a Brooklyn bus stop, just minding their own business. The footage evidences that Dowling was completely unprovoked.
Dowling even kicked Carson’s dying body after the fact…
As far as I’m concerned, Dowling’s tears are just him being upset that he got caught.
You don’t taunt a corpse of the person you willingly stabbed (completely unprovoked) and suggest you’re not looking for trouble.
Fox News reported that Dowling is to be due back in court by Wednesday.

Dowling and its lawyer are proof positive that leftists are full of it — and dangerous.

Then he can work them out while he waits for that last needle… oh, New York… he can work them out during his year in jail.
