As of September 21, the national average for gas is $3.867 per gallon, with last year’s average ringing in at $3.681. Diesel is currently averaging at $4.583 per gallon.
So, basically last year was crap and this year is crappier. You get the trend.
But how could this be happening? It’s almost like Bidenomics is a colossal failure or something…weird.
While 2020 was indeed an awful year, I have one fond memory of making a trip to and from the beach (about 1,472 miles) for a grand total of……(wait for it)……$80 in fuel costs.
I don’t see that happening again any time soon.
But on the bright side, it isn’t like our tax dollars just went toward losing an 80-million-dollar jet or anything.
I laugh so I don’t cry at this point.
