Chicago is basically a war zone. That’s not hyperbole. That’s literally the statistics. A study of violent deaths showed that Chicago is deadlier for military-aged men than either the Iraq or Afghanistan war zones were. Recently, Chicago violence has ramped up as teen mobs run the streets, destroying everything in their path and sending innocent civilians running from the violence and destruction. The police have been neutered by the radical leftists who have destroyed Chicago, so they really aren’t having much success curbing the violence and destruction. So the community is trying help.
A group called “I’m Telling, Don’t Shoot” is working with the police to warn the public about violent uprisings across the city. Their idea is to design a phone alert system, similar to Amber Alerts, which would alert police and parents to mob violence as it springs up.
Basically, Chicago is so violent that they need an air-raid siren system, but for phones. And instead of alerting people to incoming missiles and rockets, it would alert people to mob violence. That’s where Chicago is now. But hey, they continue to vote for politicians who encourage and even facilitate the violence and destruction that is being perpetrated by the people they raised to think this is OK. They are clearly getting what they wanted. As for me, I have no intention of ever stepping foot in Chicago if I can help it.
So like an air-raid siren, but for phones, and instead of missiles and rockets, it’s violent mobs of teens destroying the city and harming people.

Chicago is a war zone. Not just by the actual numbers of dead military-aged men, but socially as well. pic.twitter.com/N89zmDW3l5

No just take that money and get rid of the violent mobs.
For years I have avoided Chicago like the plague. I would fly into Minneapolis- St Paul to rent a car to visit friends in Wisconsin then through the UP and south into Michigan to visit family. From there into Ohio to get to Indiana to visit family and friends where I grew up. I returned the same way. The reason? I was traveling with daughters and granddaughters, so I was carrying concealed. My CCW is not accepted by Illinois, and I would likely need it in Chicago. I avoid trouble and troubling places.
