In cultural news, the Grammys were this weekend, and we don’t really care about that at all, but we DO want to point out that 80s pop icon Madonna has completely turned into a terrifying alien. Like you expected anything less in 2023.

This is no administration, it’s a regime! Mad-Donna has always been “alien” to me. One of the last times I watched the Grammys was back in 1989. On that broadcast, there was a stunning performance by the Gospel group, Take 6. They were joined onstage by The Winans and just completely brought the house down! There was also a magnificent performance by opera singer, Leontyne Price. I loved the montage of photos of Price throughout the years during her performance. Lastly, Lita Ford and Alice Cooper were presenters for the heavy metal category. Ford was wearing a chain mail mini-dress and Cooper rocked a tuxedo; gee, he cleans up nicely! As a follower of Christ, Cooper enjoyed the Take 6/Winans number. Other than that, I haven’t been keeping up with the Grammys or other awards shows.
