Bots Flood Twitter with Explicit Content to Thwart Protestors’ Communication

When they’re not busy welding doors shut to enforce their “zero-COVID” policy, it seems that the government of China enjoys flooding Twitter with porno bots. How fun!

After an apartment fire in Urumqi killed 10 people, protests erupted in response. The building had been on “partial lockdown for nearly two months,” which thwarted rescue efforts and caused senseless loss of life.

This seems to be the straw that broke the camel’s back because now the Chinese people are rising up in massive protests against the government. And their commie leaders don’t like it…which leads us to the porno bots.

Many of these bot accounts were also dormant—some for years—until the recent protests broke out, making it clear the Chinese government has had a hand in the recent surge of spam.

It seems the commie jerks are nervous and hoping a swarm of porn makes it harder for protestors to communicate with each other or see footage of what is happening.  However, I hope the anger of the Chinese people is stronger than the will of their government, and that they realize freedom is always worth fighting for.
