This is racism, y’all. THIS RIGHT HERE.
If you’re hanging out with black people and want to invite a white person you need to make sure to get permission because not everyone feels comfortable with white people and their shenanigans pic.twitter.com/GnundAdfGl

“Token white.” OMG.
Imagine being a person this grotesque – someone who believes that how much melanin in your skin determines your worthiness of being in a group setting. It’s so colossally stupid to base ANYTHING on skin color, and yet, the more our culture remains hyper fixated on race, the more instances of racism we see.
So what will the outcome be of this moron’s video? Well, I can promise you that it WON’T be less racism. This is the kind of attitude that BREEDS MORE RACISM.
UGH.

When I was a college student in the late ’80s, I don’t remember race being much of an issue. You hung out with people you liked, and race was irrelevant.
How and why have we gone backwards on this issue?
Maybe we haven’t. Maybe it’s just a small percentage of folks who cling to this issue but who use the megaphone of social media to try to convince the rest of us that it’s an issue.
It’s not an issue. Most of us don’t think about or care about race.
I feel bad for this young woman. How much of her time does she waste devoted to this nonissue?
There’s a reason they have taught the next generation(s) a different definition of racism.
