Wealthy and elite Martha’s Vineyard declared a humanitarian crisis and called in the National Guard to deal with 48 immigrants, who were expelled from their island sanctuary within 44 hours. Forty-four hours. They made sure the media took video of them waving pretentiously tearful goodbyes to the immigrants before the military re-re-relocated them off of the exclusive island. But the media assured the public that the “whirlwind visit” made an “indelible impression” on the wealthy elites.

So what is going on at the southern border? What is the media missing while they’re covering wealthy elites clutching their pearls in their vacation mansions? They’re missing the approximately 15,000 immigrants currently crowded together under a bridge after illegally crossing into the country in the Del Rio sector of Texas, for starters.
NEW: As of 7:15pm Del Rio time, here is what the situation under the international bridge looks like, where close to 15,000 migrants have camped out after crossing illegally. Many of the migrants have constructed makeshift shelters from sticks and plants. @FoxNews pic.twitter.com/i6tyPxSw25

According to Fox News,
“The Del Rio sector of the southern border has seen over 376,000 migrant encounters since October 2021, averaging out to nearly 1,100 per day, according to Customs and Border Protection. Across the entire border, there have been 1.8 million encounters over the past 11 months.”
But what’s harder than dealing with millions of immigrants illegally entering our country and overwhelming our southern border towns? It’s the deaths.
Eagle Pass Fire Department Chief Manuel Mello III explained,
“We do a body recovery daily. It’s very traumatic for my personnel.
We had a three-month-old baby, we had a three-year-old baby brother that passed away. The uncle was trying to cross, he fell into a deep hole in the river, let go of the babies.
The babies drowned.”
Just a few weeks ago there was another tragic story of a 5-year-old girl and 3-year-old boy drowning while rescuers barely managed to save the 2 month old baby, who was transported to a San Antonio hospital in critical condition. Here’s the horrifying video of the recovery of the little girl’s body.
Watch Fire Department Chief Mello explain where and how they recover the bodies of dead illegal immigrants. The situation is so desperate that they are asking for more refrigerators to store the overwhelming number of bodies. For the sake of accuracy, the “over 700” figure in the following post is illegal immigrant deaths of all types, not just drowning victims. Chief Mello explains that his department alone sees about 30 body recoveries per month now, compared to 12 per year when he joined the department.

But don’t worry. Kamala Harris insists that the border is secure.
