If this global pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that the USA has been way too generous in allowing Canada to exist as a sovereign nation.
How do I know? Because enough truck drivers to obliterate the world record for longest convoy have revved up their engines and taken to the road to protest vaccine mandates.
Let me be clear, though– the “breaking the world record” bit isn’t the important news here. What actually matters is that 50,000 truck drivers feel strongly enough about Canadian PM Justin Trudeau’s vaccine mandates that they’ve joined the Freedom Convoy traveling from Vancouver to Ottawa to protest the policy.
CANADA- In 2 days Ottawa will become the worlds biggest Truck Stop.
50,000 trucks, joined by trucks from the US and 1.5 million people will demand an end to Covid discrimination and Trudeau’s tyrannical grip.

The drivers will meet up with other convoys to attend a protest against vaccine mandates when they arrive in Ottawa after the government mandated that all cross-border drivers get the COVID vaccine.
“I worked for two years to bring goods and services, and toilet paper and everything to everyone. We went through having no showers, no bathrooms, no food — we starved sometimes for days on end on the road — and nobody cared about us then, and now all of a sudden, they care,” said convoy trucker Bridgette Belton, who owns and operates her own rig running food products and containers between Canada and the United States.
“My husband and I spend 269 days a year away from each other, away from home, working for Canada to bring their goods and services to market and to bring goods and services to Canadians.”
One can only assume that the other truckers in the industry have stories similar to Belton: busting their asses to make sure that people have what they need to function. Truck drivers are some of the greatest unsung heroes of our society; it’s a grueling, unforgiving job, but one that we all rely on, whether we realize it or not. Both of my parents, but especially my dad, spent their professional careers working in trucking, so I’ve always had an insight to how vital the industry and all its workers are, but for those of you who haven’t had the same experience, I hope you’re paying attention now– or at least, paying more attention than the Canadian government.
These 50,000 drivers are 50,000 times louder than voices like Trudeau’s, whose hot take is that,
The small fringe minority of people who are on their way to Ottawa who are holding unacceptable views that they are expressing do not represent the views of Canadians who have been there for each other, who know of that following the science and stepping up to protect each other is the best way to continue to ensure our freedoms, our rights, our values, as a country.
Canadians who have been there for each other, Justin?? You mean the people who have personally delivered all the goods you and your constituents count on to function in every day life??
Trudeau is the perfect poster child of the liberal elite being out of touch with their constituents. 50,000 individuals is by no means “fringe,” and they have been there for Canadians more than Justin could ever dream of. I’m not even going to touch his comments about “freedoms” because it’s so comical it literally hurts.
I’m excited for this convoy to reach Ottawa. I’m proud of every single individual taking part of it. The government may not be ready to hear their voices, but if history has shown us anything, it’s that the will of the people WILL be heard, whether the ruling class like it or not.
Let’s f*cking GO, CANADA!!
