“I’m asking myself, what the hell is going on? We look like a third-world country.”
That’s Governor Newsom of the Communist state of California when he visited L.A. to see what all the hype is about these train thefts.
This is one of those times where a picture is worth a thousand words, and a video is worth about 10,000. Check this out.

What?! Comrade Newsom is shocked and disappointed that his leadership organizationβs radical woke progressive ideas about decriminalizing crime, turning a blind eye in the name of equity, and draconian social policies havenβt created the communist utopia he was sure it would achieve.
Instead, he helped create a third-world cesspool of crime and classist division.
Newsom said,
“This is not one-off. This is organized theft. These are organized gangs of people.”
But of course he then had to apologize for using the term “gang,” which might have offended some of the criminals. Because that’s the kind of society he and his leadership have fostered. One where he has to apologize to the destructive gang criminals who are causing billions of dollars worth of damage and theft, and damaging L.A.’s economy by forcing businesses out of town.

Who could have possibly seen this coming?
Back in December of 2021, Union Pacific director of public affairs in California sent a letter to the L.A. DA’s office regarding the train robberies. They explained that criminal rial theft in Los Angeles has seen a 160% year over year increase, and they cite the radical woke progressive policies of District Attorney George Gascon as contributing to the problem.
Specifically, Special Directive 20-07 allows misdemeanor cases to be declined or dismissed prior to criminal arraignment unless there are specific “factors for considerations.” And L.A. has also adopted a “zero bail” policy, which they insist does not increase crime. I’d say that the Waukesha terrorist and the retail and train thieves or California and other Big Blue cities beg to differ.
Union Pacific says that while there have been more than 100 criminals taken into custody for train theft-related crimes in the last 3 months, most of them were fined and released within 24 hours, under the new radical woke progressive criminal justice policies of the radical woke progressive California leadership.
New Today: My colleague @CBSLAKristine spoke with @UnionPacific about train theft and they forwarded her this letter they sent to LA County DA in December. UP says they arrested > 100 people in last 3 months but many were fined and released within 24 hours. https://t.co/YyqKkxvaWE

Last month, Union Pacific sent L.A. D.A. George Gascon a letter about the mass looting of their trains & expressed frustration with Gasconβs soft on crime policies. 100+ arrests, most suspects released within 24 hours on zero bail. UP now considering avoiding LA County. @FoxNews pic.twitter.com/9UDRuHLvtd

Gascon finally responded saying that there were actually fewer cases presented for filing than in previous years. I have an explanation for that. Why call the cops on the criminals when the cops have been told not to arrest or even respond to such calls and their hands have been tied even if they do respond, and when you know that the prosecutor will release them on zero bail and likely never prosecute them anyway? That’s been happening all over the country in Big Blue cities. Some people pretend like they have no idea why this is happening, and some, like CNN and other propagandists, say it’s because of COVID-related poverty.
Couldn’t possibly be that when you decriminalize crime in the name of equity, vilify the police, and turn a blind eye to crime that doesn’t fit the approved narrative, then you end up with a third-world cesspool like L.A.
Interestingly, it’s also happening in Chicago.
