The New York Post is reporting Attorney General William Barr is considering leaving his appointment before the end of Trump’s term on January 20th.
To that I say…

Seriously, what in the hell? If true, and Barr does in fact resign, what a classless, pansy move. The Post also reported Barr intended to stay on as AG for some time if Trump were re-elected. So, he was willing to hold onto power if Trump won, but not willing to do his job now and take the heat for ensuring this was a free and fair election.
One source told CNN that Barr, 70, is not happy with the president, writing that the AG “is not someone who takes bullying and turns the other cheek!”
“He has not made a final decision,” the source told the network.
Trump was frustrated with Barr for saying in an interview with The Associated Press that the Justice Department had not uncovered evidence of widespread election fraud.
…
Barr and the president had a “contentious,” lengthy meeting inside the West Wing on Tuesday, a person familiar with the meeting told CNN.
On Thursday, Trump declined to say whether he had confidence in Barr.
“Ask me that in a number of weeks from now. They should be looking at all of this fraud,” he told reporters in the Oval Office.
Two White House officials told CNN that while Trump had considered getting rid of Barr, he was being advised against it by several people.
People close to Barr also told The Washington Post on condition of anonymity that the AG had considered stepping down even before his remarks to the AP.
He first discussed the matter with associates shortly after Election Day, when it became clear that Joe Biden had won, a person familiar with the conversation told the newspaper.
Judge Jeanine was on fire this weekend as she went off on Barr.

Everyone realizes that President Trump would not be an easy man to work for, to put it mildly. However, quitting at this point in time just seems petty and weak.
Barr, on the whole, has been a disappointment. Ultimately, his Justice Departmnet let America burn this summer and did nothing about the Obama administration spying on and setting up the Trump campaign and incoming administration.
As it turns out, talk of Bill Barr being a gangster has been greatly exaggerated.

I was dead wrong about Bill Barr.
Really wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, but he was worse than Sessions in that he ran the clock while lying about being proactive.
No sense in wasting another penny on the Durham sham.

Dinesh D’Souza hit the nail on the head. For all the accomplishments of President Trump, and there were many, his Justice Department was certainly not one of them. It was a wasted opportunity.
After three years of not controlling his own DOJ, Trump got Bill Barr, only to discover that he STILL doesn’t control this executive branch agency. So if Barr leaves now, I won’t be sorry. Sessions and Barr—What a price we have paid for these political deserters!
