Opinion: Chris Wallace Freaks Out When HHS Secretary Calls Biden Vice President

Dear Lord, when is Chris Wallace’s contract up at Fox News? He is insufferable.

Wallace is a disgrace to journalism. He used to be somewhat fair and balanced. Since his disastrous performance as a debate moderator in which he was exposed as a partisan hack, he has thrown off all pretense of being an unbiased, objective journalist.

This weekend, on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace, Wallace freaked out when Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar referred to Joe Biden as Vice President Biden.

Fox News anchor Chris Wallace interrupted Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar on this week’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday” after Azar referred to Joe Biden as “the vice president” rather than “president-elect.”

Wallace asked, “If President Trump had worn a mask then and urged everyone to wear a mask then, back in April, the way Joe Biden is right now, wouldn’t we be in much better shape?”

Azar said, “We welcome Vice President Biden to the club. Since the middle of April, the president’s guidelines have called for …”

Wallace interjected, “He’s the president-elect, sir. He’s the president-elect.”

Azar said, “The president has called masks patriotic acts. Every one of his top advisors says, wear your mask. We talk about the data. At one meter, if two people whether masks, it can reduce viral transmission by 72%, protecting both the source and the recipient. We’ve got the data, masks work. We encourage people, please wear a mask when you can’t engage in social distancing.”

Azar, rightly, simply ignored Wallace’s whining.

Wallace responded by *again* stating Biden is the president-elect, which he is not at this point.

Mercer Political Science Professor, Chris Grant, says until the Electoral College declares the winner, we can refer to Biden as the presumptive President-Elect.

“Technically, Joe Biden is the President-Elect (comma) Presumptive,” says Grant.

“First of all, it’s president-elect Joe Biden, Secretary Azar.”

What an insufferable liberal hack! We would not be in the position we are now in where half the country does not believe election was legitimate if Democrats didn’t taint the whole process by bypassing election laws and state constitutions and engaging in late-night shenanigans. A real media could also prevent this by practicing journalism and investigative reporting. If they were genuinely curious about all the questions surrounding the vote, perhaps we’d have more answers at this point and more confidence in the outcome. Sadly, we do not have a curious media but only an institution that works to elect Democrats and push a liberal agenda.

Wallace also needs to get off his soapbox about masks as well. If masks are so darn effective, why is this virus spreading like wildfire? Everywhere I go, everyone is wearing masks. Rarely do I see a person without a mask. Yet, we are experiencing a record number of cases. Why? Because we are entering into winter, peak season for viruses of all kinds.

Viruses are gonna virus.
