According to the sourcelink, federal judge Reggie Walton has ruled that Hoda Muthana, who I wrote about right here, is NOT a US citizen, and has no right to demand entry back into our country.
SUCK IT, HODA.
The judge said there was ample evidence to prove that Hoda was born while her dad was here as a Yemeni diplomat, which is precisely what Sec’y of State Mike Pompeo had explained this past spring when this case made headlines. Normally, babies born in the US are granted automatic citizenship, but if they’re born to foreign diplomats, they are an exception.
Christina Jump is one of the Muthana family lawyers, and had this to say:
“While we are disappointed with and disagree with the Court’s ruling today, this is not the end of our client’s legal options. We will wait to read the Court’s written opinion, and will evaluate our available options at that time.”
I seriously have no idea how lawyers who take cases like this sleep at night. I really don’t get it.
But whatever. For now, justice has been served. Hoda isn’t a citizen, she can’t come back to the US, and she can continue to suck it.
