Laura Loomer Chained Herself To Twitter’s Headquarters And She’s Now The Top Trending Topic On The Platform That Banned Her.

It’s kinda brilliant, really.  

So you remember that Laura Loomer recently got banned from Twitter, permanently, for reasons that were lame and ridiculous considering that Twitter continues to allow Louis Farakhan to use it as a platform.

So today? Laura handcuffed herself to the NYC headquarters for a couple hours in protest. She blocked an entrance to the building and Periscoped it starting at around 3.45ET this afternoon. She hollered at Twitter employees, telling them they worked for an “evil” company. Ultimately, she asked police to remove her, and she was not arrested.

“I am not going to stand by as people like Jack Dorsey and Mark Zuckerberg [try to] silence the voices of millions of conservatives,” Loomer said.

She asserted that Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey banned her as a “Jewish conservative journalist,” a phrase she yelled repeatedly while chained to the building.

Twitter released a statement during her protest, saying, “We have notified the relevant authorities who are responding. The account holder was suspended for violating our policies. We apply the Twitter Rules impartially and not based on ideology.”

Seriously, Twitter? SERIOUSLY?

Apparently, police didn’t allow journalists to approach Loomer while she was handcuffed to the building, but they did permit followers of hers to get the video out onto Twitter, which I have to say, is a KICKASS MOVE on her part.

Say what you want about her tactics, but this was badass. And everyone’s talking about it.
