Someone Agreed To Marry Rosie O’Donnell

I don’t want to be mean… I have nothing nice to say, so I should probably just tell you what’s going on.

Rosie O’Donnell got engaged to some blonde 33-year-old.

Also, she’s a cop. So I guess that’s cool.

But she’s a cop who agreed to marry Rosie O’Donnell. So… that’s that.

According to Daily Mail:

Rosie O’Donnell confirmed on Monday that she is engaged to her Boston-based police officer partner Elizabeth Rooney.

And the next day the pretty blonde, 33, confirmed the happy news as well.

The cop did so with the help of Instagram as she shared a photo of her stunning diamond engagement ring, which looks to be at least six carats. Her caption read, ‘Yes.’

Six carats, huh?

Surely that has nothing to do with agreeing to marry Rosie O’Donnell.

The pair emerged publicly nearly a year ago, and have been doing ‘a long-distance thing’ amid the distance between New York and Boston.

She praised her fiancee as ‘a pretty unbelievable young woman’ and ‘very much an equal’ to her, with a background including military service and a boxing career.

‘She’s very much her own person,’ Rosie said, ‘and loves what she does.’

O’Donnell said that the age difference between them – 23 years – is no issue for Rooney.

I keep telling her I’m too old for her. But she doesn’t seem to care. She’s like, “I was in the Army! I put my life on the line every day you think I don’t know who I want to date?”

‘I’m like, “Alright I guess that’s true.” She has a lot of good points.’

O’Donnell noted that people have confused Rooney with Rosie’s daughter Chelsea, 20.

So um… Congrats. Or something. I dunno. Yeah. Let’s go with that.
