Someone put an explosive device in Soros’ mailbox.
NOT ok.
POLITICAL VIOLENCE IS WRONG.
This person has done FAR more damage to the conservative cause than anything. WE SHOULD NOT LOWER OURSELVES TO THIS INSANE CRAP. Yes – I KNOW the left is resorting to violent mob behavior. That does NOT mean we should. If anything, the fact that we DON’T is what will keep us ahead of them. NEVER BECOME WHAT YOU HATE IN ORDER TO BEAT WHAT YOU HATE.
Then it’s not YOU who wins… it’s evil. Evil triumphs when you abandon your values in order to “win.” It’s that simple. It’s not “fighting fire with fire.” STOP SAYING THAT. IT’S BECOMING EVERYTHING YOU STAND AGAINST.
People fight me on this all the time. You want to resort to the Left’s MOB tactics to beat the left? Fine. I think you’re just as wrong as they are. How’s that? Don’t argue with me. You won’t change my mind.
Anyway… Alexandria Ocasio Cortez’s take on this actually makes me sick:
When the right increasingly mischaracterizes nonviolent civil disobedience as “violence,” they provoke actual, targeted attempts to harm others.
After relentless GOP conspiracy theorizing, someone attempted to bomb a man who survived Nazi occupation today.https://t.co/bv0NBjChr6

Language is powerful. As leaders with platforms, spreading mistruths with the goal of generating suspicion or hate towards individuals or groups is profoundly irresponsible.
We must take up the mantle of establishing peace. That happens with the positive presence of justice.

ARE. YOU. KIDDING. ME?
You’re right, Alex. Language is powerful. And here are the kinds of things YOUR PARTY has to say:
THEY ARE LITERALLY CALLING FOR VIOLENCE.
Do not – even for a SECOND- try to blame the right here.
For the most part, we’ve all CONDEMNED it. No matter WHO it’s against.
“Civil disobedience,” like a mass shooting of Republicans, physical attacks on Trump supporters and Republicans, disrupting entire restaurants with rants, sending ricin and powdery substances and death threats.
Yup, just good ol’ civil disobedience. https://t.co/8j94YDD1HU

Nonviolent civil disobedience? Try harassment. Liberals insist on getting in people’s faces and preventing them from going about their lives in peace.
And don’t forget the shooting of Scalise by a left-wing activist.https://t.co/GXjMBOcky2
— Mark Cancellieri (@MarkCancellieri) October 23, 2018
I cannot believe you blame the right for mischaracterizing violence after Rep Scalise’s shooting; violent leftist mobs during the inauguration; and elected Democrats approving a strategy of harassment on administration officials

Its convenient to claim your political opponents are responsible. Do you have evidence of this claim that the GOP is responsible, or do you just make these things up?
— jay (@justingoree) October 23, 2018
You’ve either buried your head so far in the sand that you really don’t know how dishonest and untrue this statement is, or you’re being purposely deceitful by ignoring the disproportionate chaos, hysteria and incivility on your side. https://t.co/XWBb82ylZ5

So.. instead of BLAMING THE RIGHT… why don’t you acknowledge that ALL political violence is wrong?
I did it at the beginning of this post… it’s easy. Why can’t the left do the same?
