Republican Rep. Duncan Hunter (California) and his wife have been indicted on corruption charges. Specifically, they were indicted on charges of “illegally converting campaign funds for personal expenses and filing false records…”
President Trump only had 10-15 backers on Capitol Hill even through the spring of 2016. Two of those early supporters were Rep. Duncan Hunter Jr. (R-CA) and Rep. Chris Collins (R-NY). Hunter was indicted today and Collins arrested & charged two weeks ago. Charges are unrelated
