Case in point.
Alyssa Milano has a new Netflix project coming out called “Insatiable.” It’s basically about a chick who was fat and loses weight by having her jaw wired shut. She becomes hot and tries to get revenge on everyone who was mean to her. There’s lots of punching. That’s what I got from the trailer.
Obviously, this is totally EMPOWERING and PRO-WOMEN. You go, Alyssa Milano! Teach those young girls the *important* things in life!
It looks sooooo dumb. But feminists are not happy for the same reason they were unhappy with Amy Schumer’s movie “I Feel Pretty.”

Alyssa Milano’s approach to appeasing her feminist followers is something else. She’s basically telling them that she sent out her first #MeToo tweet during filming, which means the show is rooted in feminism and it brings out the BEST of feminism.
“The week that the Harvey Weinstein news broke, we were all working and sadly commiserating with our stories within the industry and how we’ve all been affected by whether it be sexual harassment or abuse,” Milano said. “And just being around these strong women and hearing their stories and feeling so empathetic for all women, I decided to tweet the #MeToo tweet and simply just to shine a light on how prevalent this issue is and continues to be.”
