I’m not really big on keeping up with approval ratings, but since that happens to be one of the left’s favorite subjects, I’ll talk about it today.
According to Rasmussen’s Daily Presidential Tracking Poll, President Trump’s approval rating is hanging around 50%. That’s right– 50% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of Trump’s job performance, while 49% disapprove. Of that, 35% “strongly approve” and 41% “strongly disapprove,” which basically just tells me that those who hate Trump REALLY hate him.
Just for funsies, I looked into Obama’s approval ratings to see where Trump falls in comparison at this point in his presidency. Believe it or not, on August 2, 2010, Obama only had an approval rating of 45%. However, that shot up to 50% two days later.
Again, I don’t really care. I’m just sick and tired of hearing libs talk about how Trump’s approval ratings are abysmal. He’s actually faring better than Obama at this point, who was, according to them, the most popular and amazing and cool president who ever lived.
Rasmussen says that its daily tracking results are collected via telephone and surveys of 500 likely voters each night. The margin of sampling error is less than plus-or-minus 1 percentage points with a 95 percent level of confidence.
Interesting, no? And keep in mind that Trump has these numbers DESPITE the overwhelmingly NEGATIVE media coverage. Obama had all of MSM on his side.
Update: Trump’s stoked.
