A number of Democratic lawmakers want to abolish ICE.

“ICE is being used to terrorize immigrant communities and carry out President Trump’s immoral ‘zero-tolerance’ policy,” Ney York’s Rep. Nydia Velázquez said. “Moreover the agency’s almost myopic focus on harassing and targeting immigrants distracts from priorities most Americans actually share — like cracking down on transitional criminals and sex traffickers. At this point, modest reforms at the margins of the agency are insufficient. The time has come to abolish ICE.”
ICE is “terrorizing” and “harassing” illegal immigrants? Are you serious? These people are COMING ON OUR TURF. Not to mention that ICE is SAVING poor kids who were dumped in the sweltering desert by their family members.

So much for #FamiliesBelongTogether, amirite?
Please ignore all that. Dems are serious about abolishing ICE.
Rep. Mark Pocan (D-Wis.) introduced legislation this week that would get rid of the federal agency. Democratic Reps. Earl Blumenauer (Ore.), Pramila Jayapal (Wash.), Jim McGovern (Mass.), Raúl Grijalva (Ariz.) and Michael Capuano (Mass.) have all indicated they would support measures to abolish the organization.
How does Sen. Cory Booker feel about his colleagues’ extreme views?
Sorry. He can’t come to the phone right now.
Holy mother of DODGY.
By not answering the question, he answered the question. He’s all for it. I just know it.
