James Comey Reacts To The FISA Memo: ‘That’s It?’

First James Comey calls us a bunch of “weasels and liars” for daring to question the integrity of the FBI…

All should appreciate the FBI speaking up. I wish more of our leaders would. But take heart: American history shows that, in the long run, weasels and liars never hold the field, so long as good people stand up. Not a lot of schools or streets named for Joe McCarthy.

That’s it? Dishonest and misleading memo wrecked the House intel committee, destroyed trust with Intelligence Community, damaged relationship with FISA court, and inexcusably exposed classified investigation of an American citizen. For what? DOJ & FBI must keep doing their jobs.

“That’s it?” Seriously? This isn’t a big deal to you? The FBI is busted, Comey. How can you possibly downplay this? You and your people used a dossier you KNEW to be misleading and sketchy and used it to spy on an American citizen.

I repeat, FBI and DOJ officials knew the truth behind the phony dossier, including Steele’s blatant bias– he said he was “desperate that Donald Trump not get elected and was passionate about him not being president”– but chose to use it anyway and excluded those details from the FISA applications.

Democrats are guilty of doing exactly what they’ve been accusing the Trump campaign of. They “colluded” with a foreign agent who hated Trump and funded a bogus dossier to take him down. FBI and DOJ officials– KNOWING the political origins of the dossier– used it to obtain a warrant to spy on Trump associates anyway.
