It doesn’t get much dumber than a judge helping an illegal alien escape justice…but it’s 2025, so I guess nothing should really shock me anymore. And for all the bleeding hearts out there who are going, “But Haley, maybe he was a nice man!” He wasn’t. The dude caught a charge for laying the smack down on two people, so not exactly the kind of person you really should be risking your career as a judge for.
The FBI arrested a Wisconsin judge Friday morning for allegedly hiding a previously deported illegal immigrant in her jury room in order to stop him from being arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan was arrested and charged with obstruction of an official proceeding after evidence came to light that she had shielded the migrant from ICE agents, according to a criminal complaint. She was also charged with concealing an individual to prevent discovery and arrest.
Federal agents from ICE, FBI, CBP and DEA attempted to arrest the undocumented male – Mexican national Eduardo Flores-Ruiz – following his scheduled criminal court appearance before Dugan on April 18 to face three misdemeanor battery charges for allegedly beating up two people.
Dugan demanded that the officers proceed to the chief judge’s office and – after his hearing ended – escorted Flores-Ruiz and his attorney out a restricted jury door, bypassing the public area where agents were waiting in order to help him avoid arrest, per the complaint.
Well, well, well, if it isn’t the consequences of her own actions.
If the charges are true, I hope they throw the book at Dugan. As a judge, she—more than anyone—knew what she was doing.
Also, random thought: I wonder if she saw anyone in jail that she was responsible for incarcerating? #Awkward
