This might be one of the dumbest headlines I have ever seen.
BREAKING: Florida is hot. https://t.co/aYUc1O1VWH

The Washington Post is trying to say that it’s hot in Florida because DeSantis has decided that climate change isn’t a priority in Florida. As someone who has lived in Florida for almost 10 years, I can confirm that it is actually just really freaking hot here. It was hot way before DeSantis became Governor and it’s going to be hot long after he’s not. It has nothing to do with climate change, and nothing to do with DeSantis “scrubbing” climate change as the WaPo put it. It’s because it’s Florida.
I remember when I first moved to Florida thinking I would never be cool again because it was so hot and so humid. I was told I was “so dramatic” because when I first moved here I said “it’s so humid, I can’t breathe!” Guess what? DeSantis wasn’t Governor then. Want to know another fun fact about Florida? It was so cold this past winter. In fact, it was actually one of the colder winters we have had in recent years. Was that because of DeSantis too? He hadn’t signed the bill about climate change yet, so that must not be it. The weather doesn’t give a crap about what bills politicians sign, and it’s not hot in Florida because of Ron DeSantis.

I love the fear mongering combined with the gas lighting.
Even if you think Climate Change is a valid concern it’s effects are long term. DeSantis won’t have an effect on the now he’ll have an effect on the 10 years from now but for some reason the Left are so stupid they don’t even understand their own talking points any more. It’s just Republicans bad!
