I am once again finding myself agreeing with Bill Maher. Sometimes he is flying off the rails, but sometimes he makes a lot of sense. This is one of those times that he’s making a lot of sense. He was discussing Harrison Butker’s commencement speech, and actually defended what he had to say.

This needs to be shared far and wide. He makes a great point, and one that the left is missing. Why can’t women have the option to go into the corporate world OR be excited for a marriage and children? The left is all about women having a choice to do whatever they want, apparently unless that choice is to be a stay at home mom. Then all of a sudden women shouldn’t have a choice anymore and it’s misogynistic to assume that a woman would want to be a homemaker.
All these “feminists” are mad that Butker suggested that women could be happy to be homemakers. First of all, he didn’t say that women should be barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen, which is what all the leftists are acting like he said. He simply stated that some of the women would be excited to be homemakers, just like Bill Maher said. Secondly, where are all these “feminists” when it comes to men dominating women sports and young girls being told it’s okay to mutilate themselves? You don’t hear a peep out of them when it comes to that.
Bill Maher can be a completely delusional lib, but sometimes, he really hits the nail on the head. Here’s hoping more leftists can see that Butker didn’t make some insane misogynistic comment that should get him canceled. Because the fact of the matter is, he didn’t. It is okay to be excited about a marriage and having kids, and more women need to be told that.
