Please don’t. I’m not a huge fan of raisins.
I’m not trying to be rude, but I think this country is exposed to enough weird crap on a daily basis and we just don’t need to add to the laundry list.
Speaking of laundry – keep doing it, and wearing the items. On behalf of all Americans, we’re tired.
Chuck Schumer, Majority Leader of the Senate, recently issued a new directive to do away with the dress code for members of the upper house. This directive is expected to go into effect this week.
Senator John Fetterman is said to have led this movement after being treated for clinical depression during his six-week recovery stay at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
After his return, Fetterman was seen wearing a hoodie and gym shorts around Capitol Hill.
Fox News reported:
The senator even found a workaround to the legislative body’s dress code rules by voting from the doorway of the Democrat cloakroom or the side entrance, making sure his vote is recorded before ducking out.
“He’s setting a new dress code,” Democrat Vermont Sen. Peter Welch joked to AP in May. “He was struggling. And now he’s a joyful person to be around.”
After the new lack of dress code was confirmed to be enforced (or unenforced?) the Senator of Maine, Susan Collins, decided to joke about how the new directive would essentially allow her the freedom to wear a bikini on the floor of the Senate.
I mean, I’ve worked in places that didn’t have a designated dress code, but that didn’t mean I could be naked, or close to it.

If Fetterman is unwilling to comply with the dress code, he SHOULDN’T be a Senator and NO accommodations should have been made for him. I hope Collins doesn’t follow through with showing up on the job in a bikini. One can only stand so much of the sight of a prune in said swimwear!
Right?! I guess we’ll see how the slippery slope unfolds as time goes on!
I hope Susan Collins did not just give John Fetterman or Chuck Schumer clothing ideas for next year’s Pride Month supporting the trans movement.
If it does, please no articles on that and please, please, please, please under any circumstance, no pictures. Carry on!
I can’t promise no articles, but I can certainly promise no pictures! Lol! That’s a fair compromise.
