We’re seriously living in clown world at this point.
You’re watching centuries worth of strides toward true equality get erased in real-time. Neat.
From The College Fix:
A judge has tossed out a lawsuit filed by six members of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at the University of Wyoming who sought to bar a male who identifies as female from their sorority.
“U.S. District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson threw out a case against UW’s Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and transgender member Artemis Langford, ruling that sisters … could not force the ‘private, voluntary’ sorority to use their definition of ‘woman,’ which does not include transgender people,” the Casper Star Tribune reported.
“Johnson’s decision brings at least an initial end to a lawsuit that has captured national attention amid intense debate around transgender rights,” the newspaper added.
The lawsuit, filed in March, alleged that the national Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority had ignored its own charter and bylaws by allowing Langford to enter the all-female sorority. The sorority requires members to be women.
According to the Star Tribune, “lawyers for Kappa Kappa Gamma argued that ‘a vocal minority’ was trying to impose its personal beliefs at the cost of Langford and the sorority.”
We used to be a proper country… one that didn’t entertain the fantasies of the few at the expense of the many. And for what? Just so someone doesn’t have to go through the experience of having their ego bruised? As far as I can tell… that’s pretty much the entire problem.
Somewhere along the line, the meaning of the word “freedom” has become ridiculously distorted. It’s been made into a quasi-tenet of popular ideology, where it means that everyone has to buy what these people are selling, and resistance of any kind makes you a cold-hearted bigot.
In reality, freedom means that I have the right to ignore what you want. It’s not rude, and it’s not cruel. You’re allowed to act, think, and feel however you’d like (within reason), but I don’t have to agree with it or support it in any way, shape, or form. That’s what makes it a quasi-tenet for these people, of course… they don’t really like or appreciate true freedom, so they’ve reinvented it to fit their needs.
Men feel like they can come into women’s spaces and do the job better than we can. I call bull…
Send them back from whence they came, and let’s get the show back on the road. No one’s better at being a woman than a woman…

It started out as a matter of special pleading as a very tiny minority of people needed a bit of special treatment which well kinda generally agreed upon so long as they at least tried to play the part. Sadly it got political and has been fed by narcissism making it something that is truly toxic.
There are three alternatives as I see it:
1. Vote in new leadership and add the correct definition of a “woman” to the sorority charter.
2. Start their own conservative sorority with a correct definition of a “woman”.
3. Accept defeat. In which case, I am going to seriously think about ignoring the wife’s no dating rule and submit my application to join a local sorority. (OK I thought about it, I decided sleeping on the coach on my stomach is no way to be in a long-term relationship, as I really don’t need to encourage my wife to perform a homemade sex change procedure [Lorena Bobbitt comes to mind.] while I am sleeping.)
