May 31, 2023According to this, Chris Christie plans to announce that he’s running for president this coming Tuesday. I think I speak for literally millions of people when I say:
Seriously. Why.
Actually, scratch that. Chris Christie has every right to run for president, just as anyone else who believes they’re qualified to run has every right.
But just because you can, doesn’t mean you should. Amirite?
Chris Christie has been positioning himself as the only guy who can go toe to toe with Trump. And perhaps that’ll be his role – to seek and destroy. Perhaps he isn’t interested in actually winning, but simply in doing to Trump what he did to Marco Rubio back in the day.
The debate stage, if Trump decides to show up for it, is gonna be freaking LIT.
