This is why we can’t have nice things anymore. Dumb people with zero respect for anyone or anything are perfectly fine destroying things. And part of the reason they’re perfectly fine with it is because there is a massive disconnect between actions and consequences these days. People do whatever they want and rarely face substantive consequences, which sends a message that their behavior is acceptable, perpetuating the bad behavior.
Here’s a video of climate activists pouring black dye into the waters of Rome’s beloved and historic artistic treasure, the Trevi Fountain. Considering the profound beauty and irreplaceability of this historic artistic treasure, any damage at all, even unintentional, would be devastating. But I’m not sure if these climate vandals even care whether they damage something so incredible, as long as they can scream about their current complaint.

These acts of vandalism can potentially damage the white stone, and have been roundly condemned throughout Italy.
Will there be prosecution by the government?

This is what passes for “art” and “sculpture” these days, and not a single person would mourn if it got ruined with black dye. How tragic our society is these days. We don’t have beautiful things anymore, and if we did, they’d be destroyed by entitled crybabies.
A giant "sex toy" sculpture was erected in Paris…then deflated. Dog's look says it all. http://t.co/Fs5RnpkLnq pic.twitter.com/9yWOS5wykl
