We’re already printing money, tanking the dollar, destroying the American economy, and wrecking the financial futures of hundreds of millions of hardworking Americans. What’s another 1.2 billion taxpayer dollars sent to a horrifyingly corrupt foreign nation in a seemingly endless proxy war with a dangerous and volatile dictator? Does anyone else feel like we’re just pouring money down the drain for absolutely nothing?
Apparently, this particular military aid package will not come from US military equipment stocks (likely because we’ve basically depleted ours after abandoning tens of billions-worth in Afghanistan and already sending tens of billions-worth more to Ukraine). Instead, Congress has approved $1.2 billion in American taxpayer funds to purchase the equipment, which will include equipment for missile launchers and anti-aircraft radars, air defense systems and associated ammo, artillery shells, anti-UAV ammunition, satellite imagery, and various training, maintenance, and support items.
This comes less than a week after Biden signed off on another $300M weapons package, this time from US weapons stocks. That package reportedly included “additional HIMARS rockets; an undisclosed amount of 155mm howitzers and accompanying artillery; mortar rounds; tube-launched TOW missiles; small arms and associated ammunition; and AT-4 and Carl Gustaf shoulder-launched anti-armor weapons systems, and Hydra-70 aircraft rockets.
Meanwhile, peace talks have been repeatedly discouraged by the leaders of the United States. Because peace apparently isn’t actually the goal. Not when there are hundreds of millions of American dollars still to launder and power still to be seized.

Wait… satellite imagery… Don’t we already own that? Why are we paying for it?
Where in the Constitutional is the authorization to give American taxpayers money to foreign nations? Why are we paying the bills for every country on earth?
Auto correct sucks and we need an edit button.
“To raise and support Armies, but no Appropriation of Money to that Use shall be for a longer Term than two Years;” ???
It doesn’t say it has to be *our* Army, so maybe the corrupt could argue that.
