April 24, 2023This is a really blatant attempt to gaslight the Canadian people and rewrite history in his favor. Hindsight is 2020, and it’s pretty clear now that leaders like Trudeau did a lot of things very wrong and tipped their authoritarian hands. People are pretty upset by what these authoritarian leaders put them through, mostly unnecessarily, during the Covid pandemonium. Here’s Justin Trudeau now pretending like he never forced anyone to do anything and that he was totally sensitive to the concerns of the people who didn’t want to get the vaccine, when in reality he went to great lengths to vilify, punish, and restrict anyone who didn’t bow down to his authoritarian Covid restrictions.
Y’all, he didn’t force anyone to get the vaccine. He just made it entirely impossible to travel, work, live, shop, access healthcare, or go to school unless you voluntarily chose to get vaccinated he expected you to get. He wasn’t punishing you when he imposed draconian restrictions on anyone who refused to get the vaccine. Those restrictions were actually just incentives to encourage you to make the decision he expected you to make. He was simply incentivizing you to comply so that you could stop being subjected to those draconian restrictions he imposed on you.
Sure, you were denied the lifesaving transplant you needed because you wouldn’t comply with his vaccine mandate, or you lost your job, savings, and house for your noncompliance… But again, that was just an incentive to help you make the right choice all by yourself. He was always totally sensitive to the fact that “there are potential side effects in vaccinations” and that “there are people who’ve probably gotten very sick from vaccinations.” He gets it that some people had very valid concerns about the vaccine. All he did was incentivize you to go ahead and get the vaccine anyway just to see if you really would get one of those potential side effects or get very sick. He never forced anyone to do anything they didn’t want to do. He would never do that…

Yeah, my daughter and son-in-law were not forced to vax either, but they were fired from their hospital jobs for not getting vaxxed. Many of their colleagues who didn’t want it got vaxxed to avoid being fired. Last time I looked, that is a form of extortion.
My daughter was one of those thus extorted. She had just graduated from nursing school when the vax mandates came down from above, and she didn’t feel she had any choice about getting the jab, if she wanted to keep her job. Made me very angry that she was put in such an untenable position by people who should have known better.
