Alissa Heinerscheid, the woman responsible for putting Dylan Mulvaney’s face on Bud Light is taking a leave of absence. Isn’t that interesting? She doubled down on her decision, and yet, here we are. Her little stunt cost the company billions of dollars, so it’s not surprising. She said she chose to feature Dylan Mulvaney because the company was in decline and she wanted to “attract young drinkers.” And now she’s most likely out of a job and the company is worse off than it was before.
After the initial backlash, Anheuser-Busch attempted an “apology.” They stated, “We never intended to be part of a discussion that divides people.” They continued with “We are in the business of bringing people together over a beer.” Not really much of an apology. But they were in hot water so they felt they had to release something. But even with that half a$$ “apology,” the company surprisingly continued to lose money.
The VP of Marketing, Daniel Blake, supposedly also has been placed on leave.

While it was reported Alissa Heinerscheid, VP of marketing was replaced just days ago now her boss has been placed on ‘leave.’

I guess after losing $6 billion, they can’t afford to pay either of them anymore. But ya know what they say, go woke, go broke. Maybe this will be a wake up call for so many other companies constantly trying to push this crap down our throats. Just sell your products and leave politics and wokeness out of it.

Marketing in a business plays a key role in its success. Personally, in order to increase sales in my business, I decided to use Web Push notifications from the Yespo CDP service, which pops up on the site. Thanks to the service, I was able to increase the insane flow of clients, which I am very happy about 🙂
After causing Anheuser-Busch to lose $5+ billion, I’m inclined to think Heinerschied was fired. The claim to be taking a “leave of absence” is a mere cover.
I always said, if there was a job you don’t want to do, the first time they ask you to do it make sure you screw it up really bad. Then they will never ask you to do it again. This is kind of like a dream job. You know free beer on breaks So, why would you screw this up? Of course, my first girlfriend ever, grandfather owned an actual Brewery back in the 70’s and I screwed that up, so what do I know.
Dylan Mulveney is now the minus $6-billion-dollar man.
“the minus $6-billion-dollar man”
That is the absolute BEST description of Mulveney that I have ever heard! Priceless, and I’m totally stealing it!
