Leftists Mad Biden Lost His Blue Check Mark, Apparently Forgetting A Sitting President Was Once Banned Entirely

Yesterday, on 4/20 (pot day), tons of verified Blue Checkmark Twitter users lost their blue checkmarks if they hadn’t subscribed to Twitter Blue for $8/month. Musk isn’t running a charity, y’all, but people can’t cope with the social media company no longer voluntarily validating them as more important than everyone else.

One of the most interesting examples is Joe Biden, the President of the United States, who lost his blue check along with everyone else who didn’t pay. Mind you, this is not his official Presidential @POTUS account, but rather his @JoeBiden account, which lists him as a “United States government official,” and where he has 37M followers. Leftist commentator Dash Dobrofsky was among those who pointed out that Biden’s personal Twitter account now lacks a blue checkmark, posting a tweet saying, “The President of the United States is no longer verified. Elon Musk is a disgrace[.]”

THE HORROR!!! He didn’t pay for the blue checkmark so he didn’t get the blue checkmark, and Twitter and Elon Musk are a disgrace for daring to downgrade the President like this!

Now, Dobrofsky apparently doesn’t remember this, but maybe y’all will remember that one time when the sitting president of the United States of America was heavily censored and then kicked off the platform entirely for tweets that people thought were mean or not politically correct, even though he was the actual President of the United States of America and in the middle of another presidential campaign. Remember when that happened? Yeah, that was disgraceful. Not giving Biden an $8 blue checkmark for free isn’t disgraceful, especially compared to that. It’s business. But the left would have no standards at all if not for their double standards.

I should add that this account is now verified with a grey checkmark, indicating that he is a government official.
