Election integrity continues to be a huge topic of conversation. And while claims of overt voter fraud don’t seem to have panned out in any substantive way, there are a lot of other ways to manipulate and undermine an election. One of the most impactful ways is by manipulating the information that the pubic sees in order to manipulate how they choose to vote. While perception manipulation is a huge part of public image and is standard in any political campaign, sometimes things go way beyond your basic mud slinging to tarnish the reputation of your opponent, or PR campaigns to mitigate the fallout of a potential scandal. And the massive manipulation surrounding the Hunter Biden laptop story is a prime example of going way beyond that.
When the New York Post broke the story of the laptop, which included some serious and damning evidence showing that presidential candidate Joe Biden was both corrupt and compromised, the entirety of the Big Media, Big Tech, and Big Government establishments mobilized to protect their preferred candidate by preventing the American public from having all the information they should have had before casting their vote for President.
According to the New York Post, former acting CIA director Mike Morell admitted in private sworn testimony that “Antony Blinken, now secretary of state, was the senior campaign official who reached out to him ‘on or before’ Oct. 17, 2020, three days after The Post published an email from the laptop suggesting Hunter had introduced his Ukrainian business partner to his father, then-Vice President Biden.”
Morell admitted that he coordinated to have 50 other influential intelligence community colleagues sign a letter that would falsely claim that the emails on Hunter Biden’s laptop were part of a Russian disinformation campaign. This would destroy the credibility of the damning emails and giving Big Tech and Big Media a valid reason to censor the entire story from public view. This he did to “help Vice President Biden…because I wanted him to win the election.”
A presidential campaign colluded with 51 former high-profile intelligence officers to intentionally publish a blatantly false statement to discredit and censor a very serious and impactful story in order to protect the candidate who absolutely would have lost significant votes because of the damning story, thereby engaging in wide-scale manipulation of the public vote. If that isn’t election interference, then I don’t know what is.
In fact, a man was just found guilty and faces prison time for posting a meme which allegedly used false information to manipulate the public vote by falsely claiming you could vote by text. Interestingly, there’s no evidence that anyone actually fell for this alleged meme-induced voter manipulation, as the prosecution did not produce a single witness who had their vote suppressed by fruitlessly texting it in. But there is significant evidence that the laptop story coverup greatly impacted presidential election votes.
Here’s a great Twitter thread about how this blatant election interference did in fact impact the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, complete with clips of how it was weaponized against a free and fair election.

If this were done to help a Republican it would be election interference of the greatest degree but since it was done to help a Democrat it’s merely “saving democracy*”
*democracy = rule by the Democrat party.
