March 9, 2023In today’s episode of Democrats either being wildly hypocritical or incapable of hearing themselves, Maryland Democrats want to prohibit kids under the age of 25 from being able to be charged with felony murder because… wait for it… “their brains aren’t fully developed yet.”
If the under-25 brain isn’t sufficiently developed to be capable of committing a crime that meets the qualifications for a felony murder charge, then it isn’t sufficiently developed to consent to gender transition services like hormone blockers or genital mutilation that will permanently damage their bodies. And it isn’t sufficiently developed to be capable of voting in elections that will profoundly impact the trajectory of the states and the nation.
It’s the same as the Left’s insistence that voter ID is racist. If requiring ID to verify identity to vote is racist, then requiring ID to verify identity for anything is racist, including jobs, flights, purchases, bank accounts, entrance into events, etc. You can’t pick and choose when requiring ID is racist or when the brain isn’t sufficiently developed.

Sounds like the under-25 crowd shouldn’t be allowed to drink alcohol, smoke anything, join the military, purchase firearms, get a driver’s license, the list goes on and on for what the under-25 demographic should not be able to do if their minds are not fully formed to the point of not being able to understand a felony murder charge.
Consistency of arguments is very much not a strength of the Left.
According to wokesters, consistency is “Eurocentric”, “patriarchal”, “oppressive”, “non-vegan”, and “irrelevant”. Throw in W.C. Fields’ “immoral”, “illegal” and “fattening” for good measure!
That is because their brains are not fully developed, the development of their brains stalled at age 13. That is why they are emotion based rather than fact and reality based. (I am not joking)
