March 1, 2023I don’t know about you, but the single most important thing to me when I step on an airplane is whether or not the crew is sufficiently diverse. The second most important thing is whether the diversity of the crew on the plane is sufficiently virtue signaled on the exterior of the plane to announce to the world how incredibly diverse that particular plane crew is. Those are my priorities. And if those aren’t your priorities, then you are a bigot and you have no place in society. In fact, don’t you think we could find someone in government to sponsor a bill to require taxpayers to fund virtue signaling paint jobs on all airplanes? After a bunch of bailouts, the government (taxpayers) basically owns the airlines, so we should be able to paint the planes however we want. And if you don’t want every single one of those planes to look like a giant rainbow penis in the sky, then you are committing violence against a marginalized and victimized group of people.
This is, of course, a joke. I desperately hope that only the most qualified individuals got their jobs, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, etc. It’s actually pretty funny that United did this right now, just days after Citizens For Sanity dropped an awesome ad mocking exactly this kind of ridiculous equity mandate thinking. These people really are their own worst enemy and I’m beginning to think this is an elaborate ploy to get everyone to hate the LGBBQWTf+IAARP&$ community. Affirmative action has had a long term negative impact on Black doctors as people default to them not being as good as someone else. Combine that with ramming the rainbow flag in our face at every opportunity and you are only going to cause a deep seated hatred of people that nobody thinks can do the job.
