Ah… Joy Behar… the b*tch you love to hate.
Anyone could have envisioned some low-life liberal hack making this correlation, so it comes as no surprise to me that she makes this point. The district’s support of Trump, however, is just one of many political reasons that add up to ensure that virtually no one on the left seems to care about something so catastrophic.
If this had happened near a heavily populated blue city, you would have certainly seen outrage in the media, but alas…
I wouldn’t blame you if you wanted to skip out on hearing the sound of this utter hag’s voice yak about Trump… again… For the rest of you little rascals, though, I’ve inserted it below. Watch at your own discretion.
Joy Behar says the residents of East Palestine got what they deserved because they voted for Trump.

"That's who you voted for!" she shouted at the camera. "In that district. Donald Trump, who reduces all safety. He did in those days." pic.twitter.com/brMUQfthQj
What an absolute crank…
I wouldn’t say I’m a fan of Trump… but blaming him every time there’s a problem is ridiculous. If the policy was such a problem, then why hasn’t Biden gotten rid of it? You’re already aware of how the Dems wanted to rid the country of Trump-era policies as quickly as humanly possible. Why not here?
I think it’s safe to say that our government does pretty much everything except what it’s actually supposed to do: work for the American people. One of a number of reasons why I’m more libertarian than anything else. It’s also why I’m both an appreciator and avid reader of Thoreau. I’m most certain he’s rolling in his grave right about now, but that’s neither here nor there…
I think I’m just gonna start blaming Joy Behar for everything that goes wrong in my life. I’ll try that out for a week and get back to you…

Democrats have been blaming Republicans for all the problems of the world for as long as I can remember. The only thing that changes is which Republican happens to get the blame. Before Trump all the problems of the world were the fault of Bush. It’s a nice grift easily maintained because your base is very low information and doesn’t bother to look deeper than Republicans bad.
\1-Trump didn’t force an end to a strike just a few months ago. A strike which was partially about safety.
\2-Even if Trump removed all safety rules, and Congress didn’t get off their ass and reassert their authority, nothing stops the company from having their own safety rules. See point 1.
3) The safety regulation in question wouldn’t have applied in this situation anyways.
