He officially announced on Tucker’s show, but here’s his campaign video in full:
We’ve celebrated our “diversity” so much that we forgot all the ways we’re really the same as Americans, bound by ideals that united a divided, headstrong group of people 250 years ago. I believe deep in my bones those ideals still exist. I’m running for President to revive them. pic.twitter.com/bz5Qtt4tmm

Y’all. If DeSantis wasn’t in the picture at all (and as of yet, he’s still not), this might just be my pick. I love the part in this video where he says (I’m paraphrasing) that most Americans believe that their neighbors want the same things for our country, but we can’t have those conversations because we don’t feel free to.
It’s super early in the race, obviously, with a lot more folks poised to jump in – Sununu, Pompeo, Noem, Scott – there are lots of names being thrown around. And of course, the more folks jump in, the more likely it is that Trump will be the nominee. Last night, Gov Sununu was asked by Bret Baier about that when they were discussing Sununu’s own presidential aspirations. And he answered that he wasn’t worried about that so long as people who weren’t polling well in the early deciding states bowed out early instead of hanging on. But people WILL hang on. I’m not sure why he has more confidence in folks bowing out this time around.
What do y’all think of Vivek’s ad?

His ad isn’t bad, nothing special but I’d at least give him a look based on that.
I’m more wondering how the Democrat propaganda machine is going to react to this race as we’ve now got 2 children of Indian Immigrants running as Republicans.
They’ve already dismissed Haley as a race and gender traitor; that’s the only card they have when diversity coupled with competence appears on the conservative side of the ticket.
I know but there is only so much “No true scotsman” they can spout before it completely loses it’s effect and I think we are getting rather close.
