East Palestine Residents Told They Are “Ineligible” For FEMA Assistance After Toxic Train Disaster

The Biden Administration has sent more than $113 billion taxpayer dollars to aid Ukraine, a foreign nation, in a proxy war with Russia. But our own taxpaying American citizens apparently don’t even qualify for federal disaster aid funded by their own money despite a catastrophic toxic chemical disaster that is destroying the entire area for miles, including killing plant and animal life, polluting the water supply, and damaging property. You see, their homes weren’t physically destroyed by the train derailment that spilled up to hundreds of thousands of gallons of toxic vinyl chloride that was then burned into the atmosphere to rain down everywhere. Because their homes (as chemically contaminated as they may be) are still technically standing, they don’t qualify for FEMA assistance. Because the federal government can take your money and you have no say in the matter, and then they can refuse to give it back to you and you have no say in the matter.

Apparently, the train company is paying for hotels and food for some affected residents, but the Biden Administration is no where to be seen. Ohio has seen neither hide nor hair of Department of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, and yesterday was apparently the first time that Mayor Trent Conaway had “heard anything from the White House.” My guess is that the people of East Palestine and the Ohio river basin area simply aren’t the kind of people that the Biden Administration cares about. You see, they voted overwhelmingly for Trump in the last election, so I guess the Biden Admin is happy to let them burn in a chemical cesspool. I would put actual money on the fact that someone over there has said something about how it would be better for the country to just let them all die.
