I’m really not impressed by this, to be honest. I’m one of those who liked that Kevin McCarthy had to fight for his spot as Speaker of the House and wasn’t just automatically voted in because everyone was expected to obediently cast their GOP vote for him. Some saw it as a clown show, but I saw our representatives sending a very clear message that McCarthy has to work for the American people and will be held accountable as Speaker.
But that’s not what happened with the Republican National Committee chair vote today. Ronna McDaniel, the incumbent, won overwhelmingly.
Votes have been tabulated.

Mike Lindell received 4 votes
Harmeet Dhillon received 51 votes
Ronna McDaniel received 111 votes.
This result is particularly interesting considering Trafalgar and Convention of States Action Poll recently surveyed 1,072 potential Republican voters about the RNC chair vote and found that 86% of respondents wanted attorney Harmeet Dhillon to become the new Chairwoman. Almost 90% of Republicans wanted Harmeet, so why was McDaniel elected? Honestly, it sounds a heck of a lot like Mitch McConnel having a terrible 7% approval rating being voted in as the GOP leader. Seriously? We’re still voting in the establishment candidates even though the people don’t actually like them and don’t want them in those positions? We’re electing and appointing the same people who have screwed us before and expecting a different result? We’re insane.

Apparently, a majority of the GOP National Committee enjoys losing elections.
Welp… so much for gaining any ground or challenging even one stolen election. She’s a predicable disaster.
Why not. She has been a failure since she got the gig, maybe this time it will be different. /s
Why do these asshats get power?
Situation normal. RNC will continue to fail conservative voters and will allow the Dems in 2024 to retake the House, keep the Senate majority, and let Michelle Obama become President.
>RNC will continue to fail conservative voters
The Republican Party has hated Conservatives for my entire life, and possibly much before that, with a couple exceptions for extraordinary Men. I wouldn’t be surprised if it has been going on since Coolidge.
