January 25, 2023Far be it from me to actually Think Kevin McCarthy is doing something right. But I have to say, he has actually done some good in the past few weeks. One of those things being removing Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell from the Intel committee. Not only did he remove them, but he completed destroyed a reporter questioning his decision on this.
You don’t have to like the guy, but I do love seeing this.
Meanwhile, Schiff is super butt hurt about it. So naturally he took to Twitter to complain.
No Adam, you were not removed because you investigated Trump. You were removed for lying to the American people. The fact of the matter is, both Schiff and Swalwell are threats to our national security. So they should obviously not be on a committee that deals with, well, national security.
Do I love McCarthy? No. But I appreciate that he has come out swinging. He also made a really great point. Republicans were removed from committees because of the “R” next to their name. These guys are being removed because they are actual threats to our national security. Swalwell was literally doing it with a Chinese spy! In the words of Joe Biden, “Come on, man.”

Sadly he only has the authority to remove them from committees. Only the voters have the authority to remove them from office, and intelligent voters seem to be in short supply these days.
