Germany should absolutely serve as a warning to America regarding energy independence and capabilities. They’ve basically shot themselves in the foot in the energy department, leaving their country vulnerable and dependent on nations like Russia for oil to heat German homes and run German businesses. This resulted in skyrocketing energy prices for both private citizens and businesses, not only in Germany but in Europe generally. I remember back in January when Germany announced they were shutting down 3 of their remaining 6 nuclear power plants. Their goal was to shut down all nuclear power plants, but they were forced to keep some operational due to what the mainstream media called “an energy crisis brought on by war and climate change.”
But things are now so bad that they plan to destroy an entire village to open a new coal mine. You know, one of those environment-destroying things that Greta Thunberg hates and which climate activists insist must be abolished entirely. They’re not just opening a new one, they’re destroying a village to do so. That’s how desperate they are.

And Greta Thunberg was there doing what Greta Thunberg does-being angry about things she doesn’t like. And this time, she was detained by the police, who removed her from the premises during her protest. Here she is being carried by her arms and legs off the premises.

Glad to hear the Germans have realized coal is the way to keep their power grid going. After all, that’s the only way they can charge-up those new Mercedes-Benz EVs.
