If you’re ready to lol for the day, look no further than this gem of a tweet by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who is the current reigning a$$hole of Iran.
Even now women are paid less than men for doing the same work in many Western countries. Women are being misused. Under the pretext of women’s emancipation in the 19th and 20th centuries, women were pulled out from their homes to work in factories with lower wages.

Khamenei is apparently unaware that women are being killed by morality police (or as I like to call them, the mo’ po’) in his country for improper hijab wearing—BUT DON’T WORRY! You can sleep well at night knowing he’s really worried about the mythical pay gap in the Western world.
The tweet went out on Jan. 4, which I was shocked to learn is Women’s Day in Iran. It is held in honor of the birth of Lady Fatimah Zahra, the daughter of the Prophet Muhammad.
I don’t know about you, but I feel like Iran having a Women’s Day is a lot like PETA hosting a barbeque—it doesn’t quiteee match the vibe.
I just hope the Iranian mo’ po’ stopped pummeling the ladies long enough to post something heartwarming on their socials for #WomensDay.
Naturally, Twitter had some thoughts on Khamenei’s “benevolent” tweet.
You’re shooting at women who won’t comply w/ your misogynistic rules and hanging the men who defend them

Why don’t we ask Iranian women what kind of society they’d prefer to live in?

You are supposed to put “parody account” in your title
