You can tell a lot about a company by what causes and organizations they sponsor or support. And do you want to know what those weird foam slip-on clogs with all the holes sponsor? Child “fashion shows” at drag events. Listen. People try to argue that drag shows aren’t inherently sexual, rather that they are simply creative expression. The problem is that that creative expression IS inherently sexual because the costumes, the choreography, and even the drag queen names are VERY often overtly sexual. When you strap on a pair of fake boobs with a thong holding your dong and then shake your bare bum cheeks at someone, THAT’S SEXUAL. And that’s what’s happening at these drag shows. Even the ones claiming to be “family friendly” (there is no such drag show).
But now they’re not only performing for children, they’re involving the children in the shows. They’re even making children the star attraction of the show. Hopefully the drag kids aren’t as overtly sexual as the adult drag queens, but it’s an extremely slippery slope and I fully expect to see mostly-naked kids with fake genitalia on drag stages in the near future. And Crocs is apparently fully on board with this. Celebrity drag queen Ru Paul posted an Instagram promo for a “Kids Fashion Show” as part of his UK drag convention. All kids welcome with a “guardian.”

Crocs is named as the sponsor of the kids event and tagged in the post description, in case you care about who gets your business. One thing has me puzzled, though. I feel like no drag queen would ever be caught dead wearing Crocs, right? Such an unlikely sponsorship. Maybe they’re designing a bedazzled Crocs heel of some sort…

Great. Just great. I’ve finally found shoes that are comfortable for me to wear in my size (hard to find men’s shoes in size 5.5-6), and now I gotta stop supporting them because they are pedo/groomer supportive.
Just gonna have to go around barefoot I suppose – and NOBODY wants to see that. LOL
