December 22, 2022As someone who has lived in Florida for 8.5 years, someone who was here through the whole pandemic and saw how it was handled, and someone involved locally in politics, I was not shocked by the landslide victory we saw in November. However, Mike Lindell seems to think there was something a little fishy about the landslide victory, and wants to come to Florida to audit the results.
In the article Not The Bee posted they stated that DeSantis winning Dade County was unexpected. However, I disagree with that. We saw back in the primaries how the Dade County School Board turned red, which was huge. So DeSantis winning Dade made total sense to me. I was honestly more shocked he won Hillsborough.
As someone living here, seeing how people love DeSantis and can’t stand Crist, it was a no brainer to me that he would dominate. If things didn’t get all sketchy in AZ, I fully believe we would have seen the same landslide with Kari Lake. Would that have been investigated too? Come to think of it, why are we investigating a Conservative win, that we all saw coming, and not investigating the big loss we took in AZ, that we definitely did not see coming?
Why am I so confident that the DeSantis victory is totally kosher? Well, let me tell you. Like I mentioned above, DeSantis is loved down here. Sure he has his haters, but what politician doesn’t? Now, I live in a pretty liberal area, but I work in a very conservative one. I drive an hour to and from work every day, and I saw signs for DeSantis everywhere. There were only a handful of Crist signs sprinkled in here and there. Secondly, I have a handful of friends that would consider themselves to be more on the left. Even they couldn’t stand Crist. Crist has been around forever and everyone is over him. Third, Florida’s election reform.
Back in 2020 we were flat out angry about how things turned out with the election. So, the Tampa Bay Young Republicans (TBYR) took to writing. TBYR put together an Election Integrity Bill that was sent to Tallahassee. I’m not saying that TBYR is the reason Florida passed an Election Integrity Bill in 2022…I’m just saying it looked very similar to what TBYR sent (and we are damn proud of that). This bill ensured the security and integrity of future Florida elections. You know, so Florida doesn’t turn into Arizona.
If Mike wants to come down and investigate, I say come on down. Do I think it’s a waste of time and maybe we should be focusing on places like Arizona? Yes. But, I don’t think Florida has anything to hide, so investigate away.

I want to now how and why in the hell Lindell thinks he has the authority to barge in and “audit” election results. Authority to do a post-election vote audit can only come from the state capital. And if by some strange chance he does have that authority I want to know who gave or sold it to him.

Excuse me while I put my tin foil hat on. Okay. I think one of the reasons DeSantas won by so much was that there was no cheating by the dems. I think they wanted him to be the golden boy and want him to run in 2024. The left always picks our candidates for us (except Trump which is why they hated him so much). They want to cause a rift between him and Trump and split the republican voters.
Uh….They very much picked Trump because he was the only one they thought Hillary could beat…
They were mad at him because he generally knew the game and played it better than they did.
Well maybe he just wants a better understanding of how DeSantis won so easily while Kari Lake didn’t at all. But yes, it’s a waste of time.
Lake’s lawsuit seems to be forcing some investigating of the goings on in AZ.
The media is in defense mode and trying to frame the narrative that any malfeasance wasn’t intentional, which given that it was Hobbs who was in charge just makes that point all the less valid.
Lindell should be glad that a conservative won in Florida instead of wasting time and money on investigating what happened there.
