Well, it looks like all our hard work in Afghanistan is officially down the toilet.
BREAKING: The Taliban have banned women from universities.

This is a shameful decision that violates the right to education for women and girls in Afghanistan. The Taliban are making it clear every day that they don't respect the fundamental rights of Afghans, especially women. pic.twitter.com/Ydf13rvsbF
Unfortunately, this isn’t a shocking move…like at all. In fact, I’m surprised it took the Taliban this long. After Biden’s disastrous withdrawal in 2021, the Taliban has been running rampant and doing what they do best: mistreating women.
Fox News reported that when the Taliban took control, the regime “… began with forcing women to wear hijabs and observe other strictures of Islamic extremism under threat of violence.”
And in March, girls were banned from returning to secondary school.
Seeing the country slide back into the stone age again is sickening, especially after so many of our brave men and women fought and paid the ultimate price. So many lives lost, so much money spent, and yet here we are—watching from afar as the country implodes.
After this news, I fully expect my ears to be RINGING from the sound of feminists screaming about the injustice. (Note: This is a purely sarcastic statement)
Why the sarcasm?
Because in the U.S., it’s more glamorous to play the victim than it is to help real victims. Hell, you might actually have to admit you’re not oppressed if you have to look real tyranny in the eye and fight it.
But alas, instead we focus our energy on the “Free the Nipple” campaign and abortion-mobiles. The suffragettes would be SO proud.
Let the news from Afghanistan be a somber reminder that we are beyond blessed to be Americans (suck it, Stanford University). Especially if you are a woman.

Islam is very much a religion built around conquest.
It’s no surprise it treats women poorly as they are a commodity that can be used to entice men into going to war.
Until Islam has a reformation from within this trend will continue and we should probably stay out of the affairs in that region unless we plan to simply annex it.
Yes, this is very sad news about Afghanistan.
