A lot of people have had their say on the midterms. We’ve given you OUR take on why they went the way they did, and now Governor DeSantis is weighing in, too:

In case you missed the last part there:
“I don’t think it’s a question of necessarily being divided as a party, I think it’s like, okay, how do you run and win majorities, and I think what we’ve done in Florida is we’ve shown that we’ve exercised leadership, we’ve not kowtowed, we’ve been willing to take on big interests … producing results, and that ends up attracting more people to want to be on your team — and so that was not something that was happening throughout the rest of the country. But I think that we really showed, I think, how it’s done in the state of Florida, and if you look about how we performed, no governor, Republican, has ever gotten a higher percentage of the vote in Florida history than we got in 2022.“
Basically, if all other ball-less Republican governors could just COPY DeSantis, that’d be great. This isn’t brain surgery.
We’re talking to you, RINOs. You absolutely know who you are.

What he failed to mention is how FL has tightened up the voting procedure. IDs, matching signatures, very limited early voting and mail-ins. Without those reforms in other states what we saw happen will continue…The Ds will always win. The opening COVID gave them for mail-in, ballot harvesting etc needs to be curtailed. But, without a locked GOP majority in state governments it won’t happen. A Catch 22, to win GOP needs to take over state governments, but they can’t win due to the terrible voting laws.
