Greg Abbott has invoked the Invasion Clauses of the U.S. and Texas in order to help secure the border. This will allow him to deploy the National Guard to arrest illegals, deploy the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) to arrest illegals, build a wall, deploy gun boats, designate Mexican drug cartels as foreign terrorists, and much more.
I invoked the Invasion Clauses of the U.S. & Texas Constitutions to fully authorize Texas to take unprecedented measures to defend our state against an invasion.

I'm using that constitutional authority, & other authorization & Executive Orders to keep our state & country safe: pic.twitter.com/2Jt5HEMgp5
It’s about damn time someone is stepping up. According to DPS Lt. Chris Olivarez, Texas is seeing about 7,000-8,000 immigrants crossing the border every day. Every day, you guys! And that was back in July. It could be even more now. Yet our Border Czar, who has yet to even go to the border, says the border is “secure.” If 8,000 people walking freely across the border every day is secure, I would hate to know what a crisis looks like to them.
During his victory speech, Abbott stated, “Where and if Congress falls short, Texas must continue our unprecedented efforts to secure our border.” That is exactly what he is doing now. Since Greg Abbott is getting no help from the Federal Government, he has taken it upon himself to secure as much of the border as he can on his own.
Through invoking the Invasion Clause, he is also able to enter into agreements with other states and foreign powers to enhance border security. Lord knows nothing is going to happen in Arizona and they surely won’t help him out now that Katie Hobbs won that election. But, here’s hoping he gets the assistance he needs from other surrounding states, and can get as much of the border under control through this clause as he can.

20% of the black vote going Red?
So true! LOL!
I’m pleased to boast that I’m among said voters and have been for thirty-five years now!
It’s as the saying goes, “If you want something done right, do it yourself”.
