Migos member and rapper Kirshnik Khari Ball, known as Takeoff, was shot and killed in the early hours of Nov. 1 at a party at a bowling alley in Houston, Texas, The Guardian reported. He was 28 years old.
As far as senseless deaths go, this one takes the cake; the rapper was allegedly shot over an altercation during a game of dice.
No arrests have been made at this time, but Houston Police Chief Troy Finner said, “Somebody knows exactly who it was.”
TMZ was the first to break the news, and many took issue with the way they reported it. I won’t post the images here, but their report included video and images of Takeoff after being shot. #OhSoVeryTacky

TMZ y’all stop showing “EXCLUSIVE” footage of people’s last moments.
Please! Getting the scoop is enough, you don’t need to show that stuff anymore! It’s getting sick! You know what you’re doing and you know it’s wrong! Stop doing it!!!
RIP Takeoff 🙏🙏🙏
TMZ's lack of respect and complete disregard for the people whose deaths they profit off of disgusts me to my core, genuinely horrible to wake up and see takeoff's name in that headline and even worse to know that people are circulating footage and images of him

Whoever sent the footage to TMZ only sent it to TMZ and that's crazy because in the midst of tragedy, their mind was on getting paid for footage of someone who literally JUST died. Smh wicked! #Takeoff

Sure, TMZ is supposed to break celebrity news—but that’s someone’s friend or relative lying on the ground. No one needs to see their loved one that way, let alone know it’s being circulated on the internet for everyone to gawk at.
