My gosh, y’all, this is getting ridiculous. It’s like anything they think they can weaponize against Republicans is suddenly as bad as January 6th. This weekend, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told MSNBC that the “most haunting” aspect of Paul Pelosi’s recent ‘home invasion attack’ (insert HUGE air quotes here) is that it was eerily similar to the January 6th Capitol protest.
“The thing that is probably the most haunting about when we hear the reports of this assailant, of the attacker that you were speaking of is that he was yelling out the things that we heard during January 6, which is, ‘Where is Nancy?’ And you know, again we need to end this type of rhetoric. It needs to stop, and it is incredibly, incredibly dangerous.”
The reason I said to put huge air quotes around that ‘home invasion attack’ bit is that there are some SERIOUS issues with the current narrative surrounding what happened at the Pelosi’s San Francisco home. And I don’t believe the narrative AT ALL. Like not even a tiny bit. There is SO MUCH MORE to the story that we haven’t been told. Here are some of my questions and issues with the current narrative:
Y’all, this dude supposedly broke into the home of the person who is 3rd in line for the presidency and there was no security anywhere at all? Some have said he was calling out for Nancy, which KJP repeats, but has that actually been substantiated by anyone legitimate? It sort of just suddenly appeared as part of the narrative as mainstream media organizations were telling the story.
There was an unidentified 3rd person there at the house that let the police in, so who the heck was that and what were they doing there? Paul Pelosi was supposedly charging his phone in the bathroom overnight and managed to call the police when the “assailant” let him take a bathroom break. Who charges their phone in the bathroom overnight instead of near you in the bed, and what kind of home invasion assailant gives their victim a bathroom break to call the police? If he’s charging his phone overnight in a bathroom, which bathroom? The only bathroom I can plausibly think a person might charge their phone overnight is the master bathroom, close to the bedroom where one would sleep. Would that have meant that the assailant let him go all the way to his master bathroom for a potty break? Or would that have meant that the entire semi-naked situation was taking place in the master bedroom area? Or are they trying to say that Paul Pelosi was charging his phone in some other bathroom in the house? I’m just trying to work this out in my brain in a way that makes any sense at all.
He was supposedly speaking in code to the police, but also identified the “assailant” by name and called him a friend? The guy didn’t try to wrestle the hammer away from the decrepit 82 year old man until police had already arrived to witness the entire thing? And the dude was found in his underwear? Did he ‘break in’ in just his underwear, or were his clothes somewhere else in the house? If the attack took place in front of police witnesses, there should be body cam footage, correct? So will we get to see it?
Oh, and he’s been labeled a right-wing extremist based on some websites which may have been created around the same time as the attack, almost like they were part of a story being concocted to make him out to be a right-wing extremist. But his house is FULL of radical leftist paraphernalia and advertising, and his life history is one of radical leftism, seemingly proving him to be a radical leftist despite these recently created blogs. When I tell you there are major issues with this narrative, I mean you could drive an 18 wheeler through the holes in the story the media is trying to spin for the public.
And yet, they think they can blame right-wing extremism, which is one of their favorite buzzwords, so suddenly it becomes a terrible as J6. Which they say was as terrible as 9/11 and Pearl Harbor. Which is patently ridiculous on its face.

I have the same questions, Natalie. And it makes me sad to know that it is so unlikely that we will ever really know what happened, though the Dems and the media (but I repeat myself) will be bleating about this every chance they get right up until the mid-terms are over.
