It has begun. Elon walked into Twitter’s San Francisco headquarters building this morning carrying a sink, and I felt that was apropos of the impending Big Tech swamp being drained. We already knew that Twitter intended major layoffs even before the Elon deal was a thing. And we knew that Elon intended mass layoffs once he took control of the company, as he confirmed his intent to layoff about 75% of employees. And today was the day that he officially had control of Twitter.
As his first day in charge comes to a close, we have learned that Elon Musk fired CEO Parag Agrawal, CFO Ned Segal, and head of legal Vijaya Gadde. It’s interesting to note that Vijaya Gadde was the one who ultimately made the decision to permanently ban sitting President Donald Trump from Twitter. She has basically been the de facto chief content moderator, a one woman Ministry of Truth dictating what people are and are not allowed to say publicly.
When Musk came into the headquarters today ahead of the official close of the deal, he stood at the coffee bar chatting with a small crowd. Vijaya Gadde appeared to be among the crowd, and she did NOT look happy. I’m sure she knew what was coming.

It will be very interesting to see who he chooses as replacements for these positions.

I hope that he does not make the same mistake that President Trump did and leave a bunch of BBs (Backstabbing Bastards) in place. I wonder why a bunch of foreign-born hate America so much.
It looks as if Musk was saying, “I’m the boss now, so it’s time that you either “SINK” or swim”, per the picture.
It might be the angle or the lighting, but that doesn’t look like her.
