I Don’t Like That Megyn Kelly Is Right, But She’s Probably Right

Dave Rubin had Megyn Kelly on his show recently, and the discussion about 2024 and the run for the White House came up. Megyn said there is no way that DeSantis will win, even if he wins a primary, because the people who support Trump won’t come out for him. Watch.

Unfortunately, I agree with her. Based on comments we’ve seen during our livestreams anytime we are even REMOTELY critical of Trump, there are a LOT of idolaters out there – people who would rather stay home and sulk about Trump than vote for anyone else, even if it means handing the country over to Democrats.

I’m hopeful, as Dave suggested, that maybe Trump and DeSantis could work things out on the DL – that Trump maybe recognizes that even though he was treated HORRIBLY during his first term, that the country could benefit from someone younger, someone different, someone less poisonous. I’d love if he could bow out gracefully and throw his full support behind someone like DeSantis. I know Trump die-hards disagree with me on that, and that’s ok. Here’s the key though. If Trump is the nominee, I’ll vote for him (for a third time, I might add). But if ANYONE OTHER than Trump is the nominee, his idolaters WON’T vote for that person. And that’s what’s so messed up.

So, as much as I wish she weren’t, I think Megyn is spot on with her assessment. I hope she’s wrong, and that Trump’s most ardent supporters would still come out in support of another conservative candidate if Trump doesn’t win the primary. But she’s probably right. 🙁
